Little Thanks!

Happy Wednesday everyone! I truly can't believe it is already the end of January! Wow, time sure does fly by. :)

I made a card for my girl, Michelle, recently for surprising me with great stamping goodies. She & I took a class last Saturday and I had so much fun hanging & stamping with her. I seriously cannot believe that we were unable to finish this cute little Bo Bonny LOVE chipboard album during class (from 12 to 4). I was too dog-gone tired to finish it the rest of the weekend. I plan on focusing my attention on my album this weekend. But, Michele, wow! She went home & finished hers. Unbelievable. And the finished product is gorgeous! Check it out right here.

I wish I had something to share with you that I completed recently, but I don't. So, here is the my little 3x5 thank you card for Michelle. I plan on being back with more after the weekend to share with you all.

Card Details:
Paper:  Making Memories & CTMH
Ink:  CTMH
Stamp set: G Clear
Accessories:  SU Satin Ribbon; mini brads from Michaels

So Many Birthdays in January!!!

Birthdays, birthdays birthdays!!! I can't believe how popular January is for birthdays! (Erin, Lili, Arpy - just to name a few.  Happy birthday girls!) I had to make a few birthday cards in mass quantities last week, so I thought I would share one of them with you. I had so much fun making these birthday cards. I also found out which stamp set happens to be my favorite! I am finding my Cuttlebug to be the best little invention lately. I don't know why I was so hesitant to start using that little guy! I just love that embossed look. Now, my quest to own every embossing folder has started!!! :)

Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday today. It was very nice not having to work today. I racked up a ton of OT last week and couldn't wait for this 3 day weekend! Back to the grind tomorrow....

Stamp Set:  My Favorite Things - You Take The Cake

Mojo Madness 19 Contest

Wow, 2 posts from me in one day?!  Who would have thunk???  :)  I want to thank Jen for letting me know about Julee's Mojo Madness contest.    Here is the sketch that Julee is challenging us with.  Click here to read all about her challenge.  The deadline  for this challenge is tomorrow.

I used my Cuttlebug for the first time today. After my paper was out of that neat little machine, I glittered up the circles with my Stickles glitter. Add a few rhinestones to make the card bling....not to mention, this rock chick's guitar is all glammed up with Stickles glitter! I also made sure she had leather (**wink**) pants by using my CTMH Liquid Glass. To keep with the pink theme, I made sure she rocked some pink/punk rock hair!

This was a fun challenge! Check it out, it's not too late to enter. You don't want to miss out on possibly winning some great Verve Visual stamps!!!

Card Details:
Paper: CTMH
Ink:  Black Staz-On; CTMH markers and colored pencils
Stamp Set:  Stamping Bellas "Rockabella" and "You Rock!" sentiment
Accessories:  Cuttlebug; Scalloped Oval Punch; Stickles glitter; CTMH Liquid Glass; SU silver elastic cord; rhinestones from Michael's

Thinking of you...

Happy Saturday! I woke up extra early today, no clue why, and figured I would venture into my craft room and make a card. Must be the weather, since it is overcast, and that I was moving at a slow pace..... it took me a few hours to put together this card.

Originally I wanted to make a sympathy card for my friend Erin who's grandmother passed away yesterday. But, after scouring my collection of stamps, I realized I do not even own any sympathy stamp sets. (Note to self- pick up a sympathy stamp set! Any excuse to go shopping for new supplies!!!) Instead, I ran across some rub-on transfers that had sentiments that would do the trick.  I sponged "breeze" around the square of the flower and took my "white daisy" marker and traced around the flower to make the image "pop". My favorite part of this card???  The glittery yellow brads.  The photo makes it hard to see how glittery the brads are and how much dimension this card really has.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I'll be back with more to share. :)

Summer Girl!

I know it is still technically winter, but I am such a summer girl! I live in Vegas where it is so hot in the summer! I love it! (Do you remember that song by Dino - "Summer Girl"? Wow, that takes me back!) Anyways, got a little side-tracked there. As I was telling you in my prior post, I submitted some cards to Pink Cat Studio, and this is another one of those cards. I just loved the colors & how bright and cheery this card makes me feel.  Wow - how cute would it be to make invitations for a pool party with this Bella stamp??? Hmmm..... the wheels are turning!

Hope you have an awesome Friday! Be back with more cards to share soon...

Just sharing...

Happy Wednesday everyone!  Well, I wanted to post a copy of my card I recently submitted.   It was my first time submitting my work for a DT call with Pink Cat Studios. The outcome was bitter sweet.  There were so many applicants, but I wasn't picked at this time.  I did, however, have a very talented friend, Lisa, make the DT!  Woo Hoo!  :)  I can't wait to see her designs.  On the bright side, I was asked my permission to post a copy of my cards that I submitted in their gallery.  That's exciting for me!  So, this is one of my cards I submitted and I just wanted to share.

I hope to post more photos of my cards I submitted throughout the week.   Have a great day!

Ink:  Black Staz-On

Holiday Thank You

Well, I have been on vacation this past week and regretfully return to work tomorrow morning.  All good things come to an end, huh.  I figured since I haven't seen my co-workers since we exchanged Christmas gifts, it would be appropriate for me to hand out thank you cards tomorrow at work.  This is the card I came up with.  I found them cute and easy to make, especially in bulk.

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  I'm doing good so far with my New Years resolution.  I hope to have time to post more cards this week.

Until then...  :)

Happy New Year!  I don't know if it is bad luck to share your New Years resolutions.....kinda like sharing what you wished for after you blow out the candles on your birthday cake.  They claim your wish won't come true if you spill the beans on what you wished for.  Well, here it goes, I will spill the beans on one of my many New Years resolutions.  Resolution: quit neglecting my stamping addiction and share my creations on my blog.    So far, so good!  :)
