Happy Halloween!

Boo! Just wanted to stop in and share a photo of my daughter all dressed up for her first Halloween. Because she is so tiny, her costume is a bit big, but I still think she makes the cutest kitty!

Introducing Gianna

I am so excited to share my news with you!  I am home from the hospital with my new bundle of joy!!!

Gianna Mia Hurtado was born via c-section on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 7:58 a.m.  She weighed in at 6 lbs 13 oz, 18 1/2 inches long.

This little girl needs a schedule. Until then, my "craftiness" is on hold, but for a good reason. :-) Be back soon...

Cupcake Birthday Wishes

As I mentioned, my co-worker Nicole had a birthday last week and I made her a birthday card.  I asked her if she had a special request, since she loves my cards & posts them at her desk year round.  All she asked was for the card to have pink & brown.  I thought, simple!  I love those two colors together!  So, here is her birthday card:

Our weather this weekend is supposed to be windy & overcast with chances of rain.  I love those types of days.  I hope to be in my craft room making a few more cards this weekend, so I can share them with you soon.  In the meantime, October 14th is slowly creeping up....which means, I need to do a few things around the house before my precious little baby joins my husband & I.  He wishes she would come early.  Me, I am praying she waits until the 14th.  Excited & nervous at the same time - what a feeling!

Another Cute Baby Thanks

As I mentioned in my last post, I made two baby thank you cards for my husband to take to work for the baby shower they had for him last week.  This is the other card I made.

I made a birthday card for my girlfriend the other day and will share it with you soon.  I gave it to her at work today and she absolutely loved it.  Reminded me why I love to make cards....the reaction!

It is so hard to believe that I am going to be putting stamping on hold relatively soon.  I am so excited for the arrival of my daughter & terrified at the same time!!!
