Cupcake Challenge # 17

Hi there. What a lazy weekend it has been for me.  The weather definitely has something to do with it.  It's cloudy, sprinkling rain, and chilly for Vegas weather.  Funny....last Monday, while we were on vacation, my husband & I were laying out by the pool complaining about how hot it was since we hit over 100 degrees!  Who would have thought it would change as drastically as it has.  I will enjoy it while I can since the heat wave is right around the corner, which should be fun (not!) while being pregnant!!!

I was checking out some of my favorite blogs and ran across a great challenge I couldn't resist to take part in.  Check out Taylor's Cupcake Challenge #17.  Since I don't have much of a selection of cupcake stamps, I opted for a fun summer card instead. What I had the most fun with on my card was paper piecing the lounge chair around the sunbather. So much fun!!!! Here is my card:

Happy Thursday! I have officially moved my craft room into another room in my house to make way for a baby room. I think I scored. I now have a bigger craft room where I don't have to share it with my husband's weight set & the ironing board. :-) Anyways, by moving everything around, I found a ton of my stamps & papers I forgot I had. I thought I would make good use of these "new" items and make a fun card. I just want to lick the ice cream right off the card! lol. Here it is:

Another Nancy Card

I was inspired when I checked out Nancy's blog, and she had the cutest card workshop set up.  I just had to try a card out for myself.  Here is my version.

Happy Mother's Day (times four)!!

Hi there....I am pleased to say I have made my way back into my craft room today. I am in my second trimester and I have a little bit more energy than I have had in a while. Not to mention, the nausea has subsided....hallelujah!!

Since Mother's Day is tomorrow, I needed to make a Mother's Day card for my own mother and I also needed to take care of my mother-in-law, my two aunt-in-laws, and my grandmother-in-law. I hope all of these lovely ladies enjoy their cards.
