Cute Baby Thanks

My husband's co-workers surprised him last week with a small baby shower at work.  They gave us the cutest baby gifts.  I knew I wanted to make a few special thank you cards for his office and this is one of the cards I came up with.

Hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday. I am trying to sit back and not do too much. But my darling daughter is kicking up a storm into my ribs. I know she is just about ready to get out! I need her to wait until October 14th. :-)

I will be back soon with another card to share with you.

Bibbity, Bobbity, BOO! (# 1)

I just love, love, love Halloween!  All of the fun decorations, all of the awesome candy, and all of the colorful paper & stamps that come out each year.  This year I am more fond of Halloween than ever because my daughter will be a few weeks old then and I can't wait!!!  I found the cutest stamp set from MFT and couldn't wait to crack it open & get started.   This is the first of three cards I made this weekend with that same stamp set.  (Surprised?  I know I am....getting the energy to go upstairs with my protruding belly and have any desire or motivation to actually do one card has been tough lately, but I got three done!!!  Kudos for me.  lol.)

Here is card # 1:
My favorite part of the card is all the sparkle!

I'll be back with the other Halloween cards I made from this one stamp set later on this week. Happy Sunday!  :-)

Made a card...woo hoo!

I am very happy to share with you a card I was able to finally make.  My stamping sistah, Michelle,  had her birthday last month and I am just now getting into my craft room to make her birthday card.    I get to see Michelle today and we have planned a fun outing.  We're going to check out the Stamp Expo this afternoon.  I am hoping we will find new products & techniques to share.  :)

I recently went online and fell in love with a few new stamp sets by My Favorite Things.  The stamp set I used on this card is one of them.

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend.  I plan on sharing a few more cards real soon...
